It`s amazing how overnight how all the tulips were either planted, or bloomed. Strange to ride along and notice reds, yellows, pinks, and greens, where nothing was before. A nice change. That and the cherry blossoms. I can see why poets write about these trees.

On a not so nice note, I got home at lunch and noticed just how much I stank. The office smell gets into your clothes and then there is no escape. The cigarette, stale grease smell. I wonder if there is a clothing allowance for all the wear that my clothes have to go through. Wear them one time to work and they have to be washed. Or maybe I need to invent some sort of work uniform, a pair of coveralls for all my office days. Hmmm, might not be a bad idea.

The weekend was another mixed one. Sunday was foggy, and filled with boys. The boys came over to my house and sat, visited. Two Scotsmen and an American. Then we went to a closed ski hill, pushed aside the gate, and went in to discover tons of snow. And they have left the rails and boxes up, so you know the boys were drooling. Plus there were still huge kickers and the transition was still in tact. So all good things on the wishing it was still winter front. And next Saturday if the weather is good, we are all going there for a last season park run. The only problem is the hill is visible from the highway, which means, everyone will be able to see us snowboarding in the closed area. Hmmmm. Oh well.

Another Monday.
