My life is starting to shift from day to day, to planning for next year. Seems like a stressful transformation, as I am planning how much money I am going to need for Japanese school, flights, day to day stuff, as well as sending money home, and saving for next year. Ah yes, the pressure is on. I have to make my airline reservations either today or Friday for my flights to Nagoya and back. My office, has grudgingly agreed to let me have a month off to study Japanese. Which is great. When else will I ever experience that? And so I am going from July 6th to August 7th. My office has only given me from July 7th to August 7th off, so I have to use one of my paid holidays. Seems truly trivial at times, and I have to wonder if this is really worth all the hassle, money, and time. But then I think about how nice it will be to be in actual classes and how much easier my life will be here once I know even more Japanese.

Learn.

Learn.

Learning.

Of course when I get back there will be a whole bunch of new JETs. And it will be another year of meetings, cultural highs and lows. Speaking of, I have to go plan for my zoo class. That is the name I am giving it, because I have 19 students in grades 2 to 4 today. Some that are excellent at English, some that are just starting. Oh yes, life is full of challenges.
