A few new things have entered my world recently.
Yesterday Christina sent me a AC adapter to aid in my "getting my computer working" program. She has definitely been a big contributor to this cause, and so must be awarded accordingly. Thank you Christina your prize is yet to be announced. And also in the package was new music CD's, which I haven't finished listening to yet, but so far they seem fantastic. And although I don't know who these groups are I am always up for learning. Oh, and the lip balm is ever so tasty. So thank you for that wicked package. I totally owe you one. THANK YOU!!!
And today, a DVD from Peter of "Lost in Translation". Which totally came out of the blue and which I can't wait to go home and watch. I am pretty excited about seeing this film, only because I feel like I can related to the movie and I haven't even seen it yet. Why? Well it is shot in Japan and it shows what it is like being a foreigner in this land. Ah yes, community. So anyway, a big thank you goes out to Peter. THANK YOU!!!
The other new thing is new information about my new neighbor. Whew, a lot of new(s). Alright, so Jack my closest neighbor is in his third year and so must leave, but he is being replaced with some guy named John Barton. He is 29 years old, studied philosophy at Queens University, from Toronto but now living in Canmore. He is a skier, snowboarder, kayaker, and rock climber. So basically, he is going to fit in just fine here. Plus a philosophy student, that gives him points in my book. So we will see what this John character is like in August. Stay tuned for that.
