Hell Monday is once again here. And despite the beautiful weather, the tons of emails from friends (thanks guys), today is still hellish. Mostly because my back STILL hurts from my fall at fukidashi park!!! And I know that combine that pain with baby hell singing and dancing and playing with kids, and well, I'm sure by the time my night is over I will be crawling home. But it's all good really.
Today I stopped off at the gas station, because my shakken (car tax that Japanese people pay every 2 years which includes maintenance, etc) that was suppose to be only $1400 was going to be $1900. A big difference, and almost all of my pay cheque. A BIG GULP.
GULP!
But hopefully I can get that sorted down and get the price down. But the final bill comes to me on the 24th, so until then I am crossing my fingers. What can you do really, when you live in a very small town that requires you to drive to the grocery store, or to get out, there really isn't an option. Or there is an option, but not one that would make living here fun or keep me sane.
But back to the good stuff.
The sun is still shining, and spring boarding is upon us. The toilet crickets are probably waking up from their slumber and and stretching their legs getting ready for that big jump out of my long drop.
KERSPLASH!!! BOING BOING BOING!
yuck.
I really don't understand the mixture of first world and third world here in Japan. They have phones that can be used to watch movies and take and send movies, but not all houses have indoor plumbing. Even the walls seem to be made from cardboard or straw or something. So strange really.
I would jump for joy right now just to do something, but keeping in mind my back hurts I will leave you with a big spring smile.
SPRING
SMILE!
