Haul out the cake, ring the bells, light the candles, it is my brother's birthday today! As an older brother he is very much a pioneer for me. Send him out into the world, and if he comes back unscathed that means it is safe for me to tip toe out the door. As a child he was always my protector, my playmate, my friend, and of course my brother. And so I raise a glass to all his 24 years, although I haven't been around for all of them, I have enjoyed and hope to continue to enjoy the years to come. Cheers Geoff, you are the best!

Alright folks, a little love for my sibling.

Nothing to see here, keep moving.

Pssst...and remember Geoff about that place with that thing with you know who. Don't tell parents.

Just kidding mom and dad.

BIG GRIN

Okay, where was I?

Ahhh yes, today is Friday. A half day really. And I am more than half way through the half day, which makes me happy. I definitely need a break, and a weekend is a perfect opportunity to get out all the frustrations I have been feeling lately. I love this country dearly, but sometimes you hit cultural lows......
tumble
crash
splat.
Sort of like that, really. Of course there is usually more swearing involved.

But besides that, things are fine.

Last night was a paint night, which means my carpet is now sporting lovely shades of pink and green to add to the usual brownish grey that it usually has. A more cheerful addition to be sure. The carpet itself has survived 4 JETs prior, which means it is quite possible it started out as white. I am also quite sure that millions of mini eco systems are in there right now, trying to live harmoniously before the earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, and asteroids destroy their worlds.

BOOM BOOM BOOM

hmmm, that reminds me I have to vacuum.

Spring is here, that means the toilet crickets will be waking soon. This year, I hope if I do get a visit from one of them, to capture the moment on film. Or digital pixels. Really, I think I must share the horrific nature of this creature.

Ahhhhhh.

Or if I get lots of visits, you can all witness the toilet cricket Olympics. I am planning on arranging such events as the high jump, the 100 foot dash, long jump, and maybe swimming (but the popularity of this one might not go over well with spectators, plus there is limited seating).

Uck, on to better things. Like perhaps heated toilet seats, or toilets that flush....ahhh flushing, now there is something I miss.

Alright, I am off to go play.

Blessings to you all!
Have a great weekend.
