Tax. So to add to my day, I just got handed my bill for living here in Kimobetsu and Hokkaido (because they are two separate bills). The tax for this year is $700!!!! But this is to be paid in 4 installments. The first one is at the end of this month, $203, the next one is in August for $180, the third one in November for $180, and the last one is in December for $180. Ah yes, when it rains it pours!
