Ski day
Okay, I am showered, still wet hair, but back at work. I spent the day snowboarding while my students skied. It was TONS of fun. I will have pictures posted shortly. Anyway, I feel like a brief explanation about the last pictures is needed.
I had a meeting in Niseko and ECC did a fundraiser. We auctioned off some of the hot people here in Hokkaido, and in an hour managed to make $600. Not too shabby. As for the pictures of the old man, well that is the one, the only, Mr. Mizuta. Which, when said fast and in Japanese it comes out to Mr. Mister. Yep. Anyway, a lot of people were wondering about what he looked liked cause so many of my stories seem to have him in it. I mean, he sits in front of me, so a lot of my office view is him. Right, so there you go.
Alright, on ward and upward. The snowboarding all weekend and today definitely have not helped the bronchitis. And it looks like I am going to have to go in AGAIN to get more medicine. Really people, how much more can I take? And I have to go back to the dentist again, because there is only one in my town, and he only does 30 min of work. So he found yet another cavity. So he drilled that one, gave me a temporary filling for both, and medicine, and I have to go back on the 14th to get the permanent ones. Course now my upper teeth hurt too. Did my teeth just rot in the middle of the night or something? I swear, I brush, I floss, and I am suppose to have sealants on my teeth. So why then are they falling a part on me? Maybe it is time for dentures. Could I pretend that I actually have the body of a 20 year old instead of an 80 year old, just for a little while.
Alright, well, it is time for me to teach my last class. Then it is home, sweet home. How I love spending time at home. The hermit in me is calling.
The coughing continues.
