Continual snow
What do you do when you are constantly bombarded with snow? You build large sculptures and celebrate it! I know I have been shoveling it for at least an hour each night. And I have even had to shovel out my bedroom window, something I haven't had to do in the past two years. Which can only mean one thing, LOTS OF SNOW!!!!!
But I am getting a head of myself here. The weekend was filled with madness and mayhem. Friday was a night clubbing and singing. Since the night was planned by my Japanese friends we ended up at a really swank club. Black leather booths, red walls, lots of video screens everywhere, baretenders in suits, it had it all. So we danced, and partied, and saw the snow festival. And then we all crashed at my friend Rikapon's house. The good part about that was the sleep aspect, the bad part, we all slept till NOON!!! Which is fine except that there were people waiting for me to go snowboarding with them on Saturday while I lay tucked under the blankets counting sheep. But I did make it out Sunday, and much powder was enjoyed. Enjoy the pictures. I have slowly become addicted to Japanese tea, oolong, green, mixed, whatever, it is good and I crave it. Oh, and dried sour plums...who would have thought. I am already missing the things that I know I will miss. How bad is that? Ah yes, Japan is now flowing in my veins and I am afraid of the withdrawal.
