Back in Canada

After 40 hours of traveling I am safe in my parent's home. Time has some how disappeared. The weather...Strange. Sometimes spring like, sometimes snow. I haven't been doing much except sleeping and eating. Or lack of sleeping, and swallowing vitamins and what not. But the rest of me seems to have joined me in Canada, my brain is starting to clear from the fog. And it has been nice to be with family again and meeting new family members. I have spent alternative days and nights at either my parent's place or Peter's. This city is a new one, and I only know a few people in it. But it has been a good vacation, a relaxing one. And it is nice to be amongst the people that know me best.
One of the first nights Peter, Evelyn, Geoff, my mom, my dad, and I went to the Calgary Zoo for an event called Zoolites. What they do is light up the zoo at night while the animals are sleeping or inside warm and safe. It is a good way to not only bring out the Christmas spirit but to also raise money for the zoo itself. It was amazing to see. A clear starry night, carollers, fires, twinkling lights, some animals here and there. Hot chocolate in hand, and love all around, it was a great night. Soon I will post the pictures...once the server lets me of course.
It is strange to be back, in the I have been living in a bubble for 2 and a half years sort of way. Pop culture, news, places, people, they have all changed. And me, I have changed in other ways, but all my memories are from the East.
It will take a bit longer before time makes sense again.
Hugs, blessings, and well wishes to all.
