4:47am

Waking up from nightmares in a sweat is never fun. Or it could be fun for some people, but not for me. Tipping the edge of my sanity, I keep going. The last 48 hours have been INSANE. Running around, busy, on caffeine induced auto pilot.

But I got to go to Yumeno's 3rd birthday party. She is a totally cutie. It was really cool, I got there while she was still napping and so I helped Shinnichi make goiza. So now I know how to put together goiza. YA! Then Yumeno finally woke up and rushed to the bathroom with her mom to get dressed for her party. She came out in her little birthday dress, showing off her new duds. Super cute! Anyway, so after that, her family came to the house, and the 7 of us had this fantastic Japanese meal. SO yummy. Complete with an Anpanman sushi cake, well not really a cake, but layered like a cake. It was really great. So the birthday party was from 6pm to 10pm, and it was just the Saitou's and me, so I felt honoured to be invited. But around 10pm I was exhausted and had to go home. The night was complete therapy though, it always is visiting them. I do love them. Such a great family, such great friends.
The next day was photocopy, run around doing last minute party preparation, lunch, a 2 hour Suzukawa elementary Christmas party, where we made buckeyes, played a few games, and then ate, and last, my 2 hour elementary school eikaiwa Christmas party. Where we ate, the kids played bingo for their Christmas gift exchange, then we played panty-hose golf, ABC relay, the Santa quiz show, and finally (my favourite), I took them all outside and over to the park for night time capture the flag. It was really fun, and great to get all the kids together like that. Of course the oldest kids were team leaders because there is no way I can handle grades 1-6 by myself. Yep, I will miss those guys the most when it is finally time to leave this place. Anyway, it is late and I should try to get some more sleep before I have to go to work. Today is all about collating over 25 different pages of 250 copies of each (does that make sense)? So Megan, Steve, and Deb are coming over to help me.
Thank you all for the support, kind words, and love, that you have given me over this past week. I have definitely needed all of it, and truly appreciate it all. I couldn't have made it through with out you all, and I love you dearly! I have yet to take time to relax, but hopefully that can happen this weekend, and if not next weekend. 2 Christmas parties down, one more to go! Oh, and one fundraiser, and one conference. Soon though, soon. Mom, Dad, get my bed ready!
Love to you all!
