Road map anyone?

Alright, so before I tell you about my absolutely lunatic weekend, let me just say:

I GOT THE JOB!!!!

Yep, half way through the interview they took out the contract and working details. After the interview they bought me supper and showed me around. Considering the interview was in Japanese, all I have to say is:

Not too shabby!!!

Okay, so with that out of my system, I basically drove from one end of Hokkaido and back this weekend. Leaving Friday I went: Kimobetsu-Sapporo (shopping for ECC stuff, hair cut), Sapporo-Asahikawa-Toma (meeting and supper) - Pippu (drop of my stuff and get changed) then off to Mel's town...now I forget the name. But basically it was one place after another. Jessie and I stayed at Mel's till the wee hours of the morning talking, good fun. Then at 7am, I was awake and soon on the road from Pippu to Takikawa to meet Anita and Sandra for lunch. Then because I was having too much fun, I decided to stay in Takikawa and we rented a movie, met with Aldo, had supper, watch the movie, and Aldo and I talked on into the nights about the measure of happiness, philosophy, and all those good things. Oh, and a side note, I have never seen a better JET house than his. He has some serious decorating talent. Alright, so after that, and a few drinks later, it was back to Sandra's to crash. 9am, up again, by 10am I am on the road back to Sapporo, more shopping (all work related), then back to Kimobetsu- then at 5pm it was off to Date for dinner with the Yotei crew and two new neighbors to this area. More good times. Then back to bed by 10pm. I was SO EXHAUSTED and living only off of caffeine, that this morning when I tried to get up for work, I couldn't. I felt ill. And so I called in sick for the morning and slept till noon. I didn't have any classes today anyway so there was no drama, and I am still functioning now because of it. So now on to the other things on my to do list, which of course has been added to. And since I spent the whole weekend with different friends I am completely craving people. Ahh yes, the social creature in me is crying out for more more, while the responsible side is looking at my destroyed hovel and thinking of all the things I need to get done...it's like that mini wheat commercial.

Many decisions still need to be made, but I least I have that, if I want to stay in Japan after JET thing covered. Love to you all, and I will be writing back to you soon. Seriously, I didn't think I would have that many emails after one weekend without internet...soon soon.
