20 minutes before I had to be at the elementary school, my supervisor informs me that the company vehicle is in use and so she would drive me to the school. Since she was really busy, I told her it was find, that I would take my bike. So with 20 minutes, on a one speed bike, I biked and biked and biked, until my legs were burning, my lungs were dry, and I thought I was going to pass out. But I made it, a little sweaty, and a little tired, I made it. Coming back I took my time, enjoyed the day and was happy to be outside. Now the tale of my adventure is circulating through the office with people asking me if it is true or not. One guy saying I should join a bicycle race from the one end of Hokkaido to the other, seriously it is 10 minute drive, and a 30 minute bike ride (at normal speed), not the tour de France. Ahhh Japan.
