Gate at Ryoanji (it is on an island on Kyoyochi pond). This island is special because it has a shinto shrine at a buddhist temple. A long time ago when the shogun ran the show he had any mix of religion (like this spot) burned. But this one was too popular to destroy. As for me, I am hanging on for dear life.
